Jubri's Hideaway

Jubri's Hideaway

10/10 Excellent
"Beautifully presented cottage 15 minute drive from Dalby. Very peaceful rural location where the owners Judy and Brian have created several tranquil gardens to relax in and enjoy, after a day of travelling. A friendly, warm welcome by Judy on arrival is the icing on the cake. Also a great venue for weddings and conferences. Highly recommend Jubri’s when travelling in Outback Queensland."

It's the starting point for many walking tracks, ranging from short, easy strolls to longer, more challenging hikes, offering direct access to the natural beauty of the park.Couples looking for a peaceful escape will appreciate the secluded cabin and chalet accommodations available in Dandabah. These often feature private balconies with forest views, superb for enjoying the quiet surroundings and wildlife spotting. There's less chance of heavy rain compared to summer, and the air is generally clearer, offering excellent visibility for scenic views. Temperatures can drop significantly, particularly at night, so packing warm clothing is essential. This season is superb for couples seeking a cosy retreat, as many accommodations feature fireplaces, providing a lovely setting for a relaxing break amidst the mist-shrouded peaks. While summer (December to February) brings warmer temperatures, it also coincides with the wet season, meaning higher humidity and a greater chance of afternoon thunderstorms.
